Mark Williams Construction began in 1990 as a small residential and commercial contractor in Sarasota. The company incorporated in 2003, expanding its services and workforce. In 2005, Matt Allen joined as Vice President, strengthening leadership. The 2008 recession challenged the company but improved financial management and project delivery. Over time, Mark Williams Construction gained expertise in post-tensioned concrete and high-rise residential projects. Notable completed projects include The Water Club in St. Petersburg, The Jewel and Westin/Vue in Sarasota, the Rosewood Residences on Lido Key, St. Regis Hotel and Longboat Key. Today, the company operates with over 160 in-house employees, owns cranes and boom pumps, and continues to lead with hands-on management and strong community ties.
